Here are 10 of our top date night ideas for Harford County, Maryland during the spring and summer months! Many of these can still be done during the fall and winter months, so keep reading no matter what time of the year it is!
1. Go mini golfing at Mountain Run

Mini golfing is the perfect date night idea if you’re looking to have some fun, and a little friendly competition! It’s also perfect to do before or after going out to eat.
Our recommendation is Mountain Run Mini Golf in Fallston! This is a fairly new mini golf location that opened in 2020. They are taking many COVID precautions during this time, so it’s super safe to do! There are also discounts for military, first responders, and senior citizens.

2. Rainy day? Have a movie night!

A movie night (or day) is perfect for those rainy days!
One of our favorite Harford County movie theaters is Horizon Cinemas in Fallston. They have a lot of delicious food items available for purchase, as well as a bar complete with beer and wine!
3. Visit the local breweries

If you’re beer drinkers, there are so many local breweries in the area that you can enjoy for date night!
One is Independent Brewing Company. They are located just down the road from us on Main Street. They have 26 rotating taps! One (or both) of you not beer drinkers? They have non-alcoholic options too, like coffee, kombucha, and root beer! They also offer classes on home brewing, which could be a really fun way to spend date night! They often have food trucks outside, too.
Another option is Alecraft Brewery — also located very close to our shop! They have a rotating selection of 10 artisan beers and also offer classes on home brewing! Their neighbors over at Bird’s Nest BBQ have partnered with them to deliver food right to the brewery, too. If beer and BBQ sounds like your ideal date night, then Alecraft is the perfect choice!
4. Catch some live music at Fiore Winery
Fiore Winery in Pylesville has a Music in the Vineyard afternoon every Sunday from 1-4 pm, May through October! You can bring a picnic basket and spend the afternoon relaxing outside, enjoying live music together. There are no tickets required to attend! They also offer chilled bottles available for purchase for all of you vinos out there!
5. Take a stroll through Havre De Grace
Harford County is home to the historic Havre De Grace, which really is the perfect spot for a date! They have the Havre De Grace Boardwalk, giving you a leisurely stroll along the water from Tydings Park to the Concord Point Lighthouse.
Havre De Grace is home to so much more than the boardwalk, too! There are museums, restaurants, quaint shops, and ice cream shops. Did we mention that there’s also an arts and entertainment district?
6. Catch some stands on the Harford County Snowball Trail
It’s no secret that Harford County is home to a ton of snowball stands! Click here to check out all of the locations located on the Harford County Snowball Trail. You can visit one on each of your date nights throughout the summer and make it a goal to visit each one by the end of the summer!
7. Hike along the Ma and Pa Trail
Are you an outdoorsy couple? Then you need to check out the Ma and Pa Trail if you haven’t already!
This trail follows the course of the old Ma and Pa Railroad through Harford County, and the Bel Air section of it is 2.5 miles long. There is even a dog park at one end where dogs can roam free, so if you have a furry friend at home, you can bring them along, too!
8. Go on a hot air balloon ride

10. Participate in trivia night
